Finding chemo...

All systems go!

Susan is on her way to the City of Hope with George at the wheel, and Cindy and her sweetie in the backseat. Susan's riding shotgun, of course, with her cell phone glued to her ear. She blogged before leaving home, and called me at 7 p.m. to fill me in.

She told me a few days ago that she planned to take her laptop to the hospital, but I don't know if she did. The staff says there is WiFi in the rooms but former patients beg to differ, so Internet access is anyone's guess.

Even if she is offline for several days, keep leaving your comments. Susan appreciates the support, and I suspect George and Cindy may eyeball this blog as well. Susan may be by herself at the hospital, but she sure as heck is not alone.

I'll post again tomorrow evening.

You are all ("The writers group") so clever and witty. Now, Susan, time to outwit that pesty bug!!

My thoughts, love and prayers are with you.

By the way, my amazing wonderful son managed to get himself on a "slow down" and can't leave campus on his BIRTHDAY!!!! Had to say the wonderful words since this is a family blog!

peace :)

Paula, you are one of the few people on the planet who can make cancer seem hilarious. What a talent!

Keep the comedy bits coming! It's better than a glass of bubbly!

Maybe Susan will agree. Although she does love her bubbly.

Paula, thanks for taking up the "posting baton" and keeping us all informed.

Susan, my thoughts and prayers are with you always, and especially this week.

I hope by the time you read this, Susan, the colonoscopy is over, they have found that the lymphoma has NOT infiltrated that far -- and, if it has, well we all know you've got stronger guts than 99.9999% of the people on this planet. You go girl!

I'm going to try to change my user name to Mrs. Duck, but I don't know if it'll work. This blogging stuff is totally new to me. Unlike you, I'm a techno-Neanderthal (not a Luddite, I LIKE technology -- it just doesn't like me).

I have to say, Finding Chemo is inspired! Paula, I didn't meet you in person, but meeting you online is a real treat!

Susan, when you're out of CoH, we'll have to combine the comedy AND the bubbly, with another fiesta! Only this time, we'll host it.

OK, I'm trying to see if my "name change" has worked. Will I be Karen again, or Mrs. Duck? Can anyone help me change my name, or do I have to go to court to do it?

Yay! It worked!

I laughed so hard I cried when I saw the Finding Chemo video box. Paula, I assume that's your genius at work. Thank you for the guffaws.

Susan,

Hope you can feel my warm wishes reaching out to you through the ether. Will you be up for a visitor tomorrow or Friday?
