Hospital Novelty Factor

How long does it take for the novelty to wear off?

- Pushing the up and down buttons on the bed while whipping my head and singing "She's a Maniac" ala 1980's Flash Dance: Five Minutes

- Ordering room service: 36 hours

- Feeling well cared for and nurtured by the exceptional CofH staff: Never

Yeah, Susan.

There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home!

Hey, this weeks Newsweek has an article by Jonathan Alter re his bout of MCL in 2004. I'm just going to read it today, so I don't know if there is anything helpful, but you may want to check it out!

I read multiple posts at a time, so fogive the straying nature of my comment. First: Hooray. I hope you are feeling ok and I'm glad everything that you've had a bit of good news over the last few days. Second: Who knew you were such a foody? Have you always been a foody or has this experience brought it out in you? I think this might be your book, Susan: a foody memoir. Take notes, now!
