I love a parade!

Doesn't get much better - having a blast while spreading the word about the need for "mutts" and minorities to register for the National Bone Marrow Registry. Also got to plug A3M and Krissy Kobata. Nancy made my tiara decorated with dog bones. That handsome hapa standing next to me is Scott Fleeman, a high school student who recruited several mutts to join us on Sunday.

Scott and I are upstaged by Betty, our spokes-mutt for Mutts for Marrow.

This is how mutts get down to disco music.

Disco lives again after dying an early death from polyester poisoning in the early 80s. Look for this disco troop at the parade on Sunday.

You all rock, but maybe especially Betty. No, then again, maybe you. Who else could wear dogbones with such panache?

That is just great, great, great.

I wish I could've been there, but I value my pillow too much! Plus, I'm still recovering from all the Christmas, Rose, & NYrs parties.

Some of those dancers look like they haven't discoed in a while.

SC, glad u got The word out & you look like a great cook!

Thanks, Ronni, AH and Miss H - It really was a lot of fun. Can you tell I've gained weight?

CO, I'm going to try to pop into Bren Art before taking my place in the park at 10:30.

"look like a great cook" - didn't know you could tell that from a picture

You were born to wear a tiara! What a wonderful cause and especially love the clothes that did not vanish in the 80s!

JCK, It's a little scary how much I enjoyed wearing that tiara. I would have showed in it if it wasn't for the dog bones.

Hurrah for Betty! She is such a sweetie. I hope she enjoys her moment in the spotlight. (You too, Susan, but let's face it, who but Betty could pull of that minidress!)

Love the tiara!

Yes, but the weight gain looks in all the right places. (But I fear Margaret is right -- Betty seems to be getting most of the attention. Must be the legs. Must be a runner.)

gotta admit, you do look great!

betty does too---but she's no runner! At least, not in that dress! ;-)

the dancers are...well...uhm...preserved I suppose I could say.

have fun, enjoy and hug all the pups for me!

Great job, Sis.

Yeah, how 'bout some parade shots.

BTW, tell me about the pink slippers you're wearing.

You look amazing! I definitely think Nancy has a second career ahead of her designing tiaras. Loved it.
Betty does wear that dress well. She looks like a doll.
