Once I get an idea in my head, I have a hard time shaking it off. Take that EOS cap. I won't rest until it's sitting on my head.
I might have a hard time justifying a jaunt to the Eos winery for a taste of the liquid grape, but when it's on the way to Stanford Cancer Center, that's an entirely different matter.
I'm scheduled to see EOS specialist Dr. Jason Gotlib on November 30. The EOS wine specialist is on the calendar for November 29.
Now I can rest again.

At least you have your priorities straight!
You have so many friends and loved ones who are thinking of you, Susan. Thanks for keeping us posted.
Looking forward to having your blog delivered to my inbox. I want to catch up on what's been going on with you, though the most recent ones show you are back in limbo-land... sigh.
I'm thinking of you, and sending good thoughts your way. Wish I could do more. Start tweeting again and I'll keep you company along your two week journey in allergen-free land!
I'm relieved, though I guess this means an interruption of the beach respite. Still, you get your hat and your wine. You have your priorities straight.
gotta get the EOS Winery scheduled & go. That pesky appt with Gotlib can wait, right? ;-) sounds like you're doing the right thing, a little fun and a little seriousness.
and while you're in PR, think about stopping at Tobin James (out on the east side of "town"). If you're coming across 46 to 101, it's on your way! they have a FANTASTIC non-alcoholic sparkling wine...the alcoholic beverages are pretty good too!
Just a reminder---they've done an awful lot of work up at Stanford---give yourself extra time to work around the construction and get lost. It is much better than it was 6 months ago. I've found less trouble coming from the north side---Sand Hill.
Love to see you if you have time---understand if you don't.
You're such a force of nature I guess those effing EOS buggers can't help but hitch a ride from time to time.
Funny, I had entirely replaced this blog with your other, in my visits, in my mind. Reminder to keep all sides of a person in view.
Happy Thanksgiving, and if you need any help on the homefront while you're away, let me know.
Ann, Darn straight about those priorities! And thanks for caring.
Lisa, So nice to hear from you. You are such a witty writer.
Petrea, The beach will be waiting for me.
Trish, Thanks for the PR and Stanford tips. No time for visit this time, but soon I hope.
AH, "Force of nature"? I like that. Thanks for the offer to check in on the homestead.
NOW I have an appt. with the genius bar at the apple store and will have to part with my MacBook for one week. Sob, sob.

Sorry you have to leave your pets for a while, but Newport Beach shouldn't be too tough. Hope that Stanford doctor finds and fixes the problem ASAP. If you need a bed in Sacto, our door is always open for you.
